Sometimes, when we drink coconut water directly from the unripe coconut we come across a layer of soft, white and creamy layer of flesh. That flesh is known as coconut meat or coconut malai. This coconut malai is rich in nutrients like fiber, manganese, iron, zinc, phosphorus and potassium.
