Tripura civic polls results live: BJP ahead in early trends

The counting of votes for over 200 seats in the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and other civic bodies in Tripura is under way. The State Election Commission (SEC) has decided to proceed for counting of polled EVMs with tight security even as the demand of opposition parties to countermand Thursday's civic polls alleging massive rigging and violence is pending in the Supreme Court.
