EAM Jaishankar in Maldives, to ink pacts and boost ties

External affairs minister S Jaishankar arrived here on Saturday as part of his five-day two-nation visit to the Maldives and Sri Lanka to explore the possibilities of further expansion of bilateral engagements with the two key maritime neighbours of India. The two countries signed an agreement for mutual recognition of vaccine certificates to facilitate travel. Jaishankar will also inaugurate a coastal radar surveillance system in the Maldives on Sunday.
