SC: Govts duty-bound to stop hate speeches

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it is the duty of state governments to stop hate speeches and expressed concern that such cases are happening despite the comprehensive guidelines formulated by the apex court in 2018 on preventive, remedial and punitive measures to be taken by the authorities.
