Volley of bullets kills soldier during J&K counter-terror operation

An Army soldier was fatally wounded in a shootout with terrorists when a team of 19 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and J&K police conducted an operation to bust a hideout in Kokernag of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday and he died on the way to hospital. Sepoy Neshan Singh died of multiple bullet wounds, a police officer said.
