Amnesty India fined Rs 52 crore, ex-CEO Rs 10 crore for Fema violation

The adjudicating authority of Enforcement Directorate has upheld a fine of nearly Rs 52 crore imposed on Amnesty India and another Rs 10 crore on its former India CEO Aakar Patel for receiving money from Amnesty International, UK in violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
