CBSE lets Class X students with basic math study subject in Class XI

​​As per the original plan, only those who opt for ‘Mathematics Standard’, as opposed to ‘Basic’, in class 10 are eligible to pursue maths at junior college level. However, citing the Covid pandemic as a stressful situation for students, the board had waived off that condition in 2021, and has decided to continue with the same for one more year.
