Fewer Indians drinking since 2015, finds study

The number of Indians who drink has reduced, a study published in the journal Alcohol and Alcoholism suggests. However, men who do drink seem to be doing it more often. The study is based on a comparison of alcohol consumption trends reported in the National Family Health Survey conducted in 2019-21 and 2015-16.
