Army Day event in B'luru this yr, first out of New Delhi ever

The annual Army Day parade on January 15 next year will be held in Bengaluru, in keeping with the Modi government's directive to take major events out of the national capital region to different parts of the country. The parade is likely to be shifted to some other location in 2024. The annual IAF Day parade and flypast on October 8 was also shifted to Chandigarh this year.
