Bihar minister who hit out at Nitish ‘forced to resign’

Bihar agriculture minister Sudhakar Singh, whose pot-shots caused much embarrassment to the Grand Alliance (GA) government in general and CM Nitish Kumar in particular, resigned on Sunday, the second RJD minister to leave since September. Top sources said Sudhakar was forced to leave. “He didn’t resign on his own. Rather, he was forced to resign due to pressure from the chief minister,” said a source, requesting anonymity.
