AIIMS restores data, online services to take time to resume

After six days, AIIMS authorities finally managed to restore the hospital's e-data, which was hacked after a ransomware attack on its servers. However, the network is still being sanitised and it may take some more time to restore the online services, sources said. It is feared that the data of around 3-4 crore patients could have been compromised due to the breach detected on November 23.
