Court rejects AIM objection to plea on Gyanvapi worship

A Varanasi court on Thursday rejected the objection of Anjuman Intezamia Masajid (AIM) — the Gyanvapi mosque management committee — against a petition seeking the right to worship the purported ‘Shivling’ found in the mosque complex during a court-mandated survey on May 16 and ban of Muslims' entry into the complex. The court fixed December 2 as the next date of hearing in the case.
