Oppn hurting India reputation, says Rajnath on G20 logo row

Defence minister Rajnath Singh has said that it was unfortunate and surprising that opposition parties try to stoke controversies for political gains even if it causes damage to the country’s reputation. Singh, who unveiled the statue of Prithvi Raj Chouhan at Jhajjar in Haryana on Sunday, said that seeing the lotus in the G20 logo, some people raised objections, which was unfortunate as it was declared the national flower in 1950.
