Winter session to begin on Dec 7, govt may table data protection bill

The winter session of Parliament will commence from December 7 and will continue until December 29, “subject to exigencies of government business”, the Lok Sabha secretariat said on Saturday. Parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi, who tweeted the dates, said the session will comprise 17 sittings spread over 23 days.
