Airfares to Goa soar more than 4 times

With the Christmas and New Year peak travel holidays falling on weekends and passengers in revenge travel mode, the airfares to Goa have begun to soar up to four folds for the two upcoming weekends, reports Gauree Malkarnekar. A flight ticket from Chennai to Goa costs more than four times as much, priced at Rs 12,700 already for December 23 and 24, as against the usual fare of Rs 4,400 on this route.
