Xiaomi gets HC relief in Rs 3,700cr FD attachment

Quashing a provisional order issued by the income-tax department attaching Rs 3,700 crore held in fixed deposits by Xiaomi Technology India, the Karnataka high court has restrained the telecom major from making any payments from the FDs in any form, including royalty to any companies or entities located outside India.
