CPM & Cong have agreed on Tripura pre-poll pact: Yechury

CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury said on Wednesday that the party has agreed to form a pre-poll alliance with Congress for the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura. The alliance is likely to jointly announced by Congress and CPM over the weekend. Congress leader Mukul Wasnik, the senior observor for Tripura polls, and Yechury were in Agartala, where the CPM chief made the announcement.
