Three quakes in Uttarakhand in span of 12 hours

Three quakes of mild intensity jolted Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi within 12 hours on Sunday. The first quake was a 2.5-magnitude tremor at 12.45 am, with its epicentre in Bhatwari block's Siror forest. The second was recorded soon after in the same area, followed by a third of 1.8 magnitude at 10.10am, with its epicentre in Uttarkashi's northeastern part.
