TMC, SP pledge to stay equidistant from Congress and BJP

Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress and Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party Friday signalled they would remain equidistant from Congress and BJP while striving to cobble together an anti-saffron “third front” without the grand old party getting any chance to play “the big boss of the opposition”. Akhilesh met the Bengal CM at her residence in Kolkata on Friday.
