SC dismisses petitions against Agnipath scheme

The Supreme Court dismissed on Monday petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the Agnipath scheme for recruitment of soldiers in the armed forces for a period of four years and said “there is nothing for us to interfere in the Delhi high court judgment”, which had upheld the new scheme as a “well-thought-out” one.
