6 labourers working on rail power project electrocuted

Divisional railway manager (DRM) K K Sinha, who visited the spot along with other senior officials from the division, said the poles were being installed by contract labourers engaged by Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL). At about 11.35 am on Monday, one of the truss poles slipped from their hands and touched the live 25KV overhead wire. The six workers holding the pole were charred to death.
