Delhi: Coolest June in 15 yrs 2nd cleanest 6 months since 16

You did not need jackets or pullovers, but June was, as summer temperatures go, the coolest in 15 years. The mean maximum temperature this June was 37 degrees Celsius, two degrees lower than the normal maximum temperature of the month. This milder maximum was due mainly to regular rainfall, overcast skies and the early arrival of the southwest monsoons.
