Sisi backs Indias focus on Global South as ties turn strategic

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi signed a landmark strategic partnership agreement following their decision earlier this year to elevate ties, and after a bilateral meeting that saw discussions on G20 cooperation, food and energy security, climate change and the need for concerted efforts by the Global South to deal with such issues.
