Ahead of polls, Shivraj inducts 3 new ministers

Three new ministers — Gauri Shankar Bisen, Rajendra Shukla, and Rahul Singh Lodhi — were inducted into the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government on Saturday, barely three months ahead of elections. Lodhi was sworn in as a minister of state while Bisen and Shukla were made cabinet ministers. There’s barely a month and half left before the model code of conduct kicks in, and only three-four cabinet meetings are likely to be held before then.
