Dalit woman stripped over brother's elopement

A nurse from a Dalit community was attacked, stripped and humiliated by a couple who also attempted to kill her in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district. The woman, who works in a private hospital, was abducted while filling water from a municipal water tap. The accused, Gangireddy Brahma Reddy and Pullamma, were arrested and later admitted to the crime.
