Malayalam filmmaker-screenwriter Siddique passes away at 63

Siddique, popular Malayalam filmmaker and scriptwriter, passed away at the age of 63 in Kochi. He had been undergoing treatment for various ailments and was on ECMO support . Known for movies like ‘Nadodikkattu’, ‘Ramji Rao Speaking’, and ‘In Harihar Nagar’, Siddique had won acclaim for his 2010 movie, ‘Bodyguard’, which was remade in Tamil and Bollywood. His last directorial was the film ‘Big Brother’ starring Mohanlal that released in 2020. Siddique is survived by his wife and three children.
