1.3L kids will age out before obtaining green card, risk of family separation

At present, 10.7 lakh Indians are caught up in the employment green-card backlog (EB-2 and EB-3 categories), which will take 134 years to process. Nearly 1.34 lakh children will age out before a green card can be obtained. This, in turn, carries with it a high risk of family separation.
