Amit Shah: In 10 yrs, India will be exporting key pharma ingredients

Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that India will become self-sufficient in active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and key starting materials (KSMs) for the pharmaceutical sector within 10 years. He mentioned that the Modi government has adopted a long-term policy to achieve this goal. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)-Ahmedabad is part of the government's plan to make India self-reliant in the pharmaceutical sector.
