Govt forms panel under Kovind to study ‘one nation, one poll’

The government on Friday formed a six-member panel headed by former President Ram Nath Kovind to explore the feasibility of “one nation-one election”, a day after the announcement of a special session of Parliament from September 18-22 stoked speculation of early Lok Sabha polls, clubbed with five state polls due later this year.
