Violent protests continued in Manipur's capital over the kidnapping and killing of two youths. Curfew was re-imposed in two districts of East and West Imphal. The Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) has been extended by six months in Manipur, excluding certain areas. A CBI team is in the state sent to assist with the investigation.
