US woman sentenced to 78 years in prison for sedating, killing daughters

A woman in Virginia was sentenced to 78 years in prison on Friday for sedating her two children before shooting them in August 2018. Veronica Youngblood (38), the former sex worker, was convicted on two charges, including murder and use of a firearm, reported the New York Post. She had shot dead her sedated daughters Sharon Castro (15) and Brooklynn Youngblood (5) after lying them on a bed in their apartment.
