Nod sought for contempt case against Uddhav Thackeray

A journalist has filed a contempt petition against Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray for his derogatory remarks towards Chief Justice DY Chandrachud in a Dussehra speech. The journalist alleges that Thackeray's comments are an attempt to influence pending cases in the Supreme Court and undermine the dignity of the court and the CJI's office.
