India may get 1st space station unit in 5 years; 2047 roadmap includes Moon tourism plan

Isro aims to build a space station by 2028 and is confident in achieving this target. The space agency is also planning for lunar missions, including Chandrayaan-4, 5, 6, and 7, in different phases. Isro has goals of offering Moon tourism and developing infrastructure on the Moon. The agency is working on the next generation launch vehicle, which is crucial for the space station project. Isro is also exploring the use of radioisotope heater units (RHUs) and other technologies to manage extreme temperature variations on the Moon.

Delta, United & others sue cybersecurity firm for over $2 bn in damages

Following the loss incurred by Crowdstrike’s faulty update in July, which resulted in significant financial damage to shareholders and lawsuits from customers, Delta Airlines, one of the affected companies, is planning to file a class-action lawsuit against the cybersecurity firm. The airlines seeks compensation of up to $500 million from both Crowdstrike and Microsoft, as disclosed in the company’s filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
