USS Carney, other ships attacked in Red Sea: Pentagon

A US warship and multiple commercial vessels were attacked in the Red Sea, deepening maritime tension in the Middle East. The USS Carney, known for intercepting missiles and drones, came under attack. A ship owned by a British company was also struck. Yemen's Houthi rebels have declared their intention to target ships in response to Israel's ground incursion into Gaza.
