PM Modi cites Shabari, makes prepoll outreach to tribals

PM Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the role of tribal woman Shabari in the story of Ram, ahead of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. He also emphasized the importance of the welfare of the poor, deprived, and tribals, and mentioned the construction of 4 crore permanent houses for the poor in the last 10 years. “The story of Shri Ram is not possible without Mata Shabari,” the PM said.
