SC asks Google to explain how its live location feature works

The Supreme Court has asked Google India to explain the working of Google PIN for live location. Google India, though not a party to the case, is sought for information on Google PIN's functioning. The court wants to examine if an accused can be compelled to share their live location as a condition for bail. Previously, the court sought a response from the Enforcement Directorate, which supported the bail condition in a money laundering case.
