PM Modi-led panel to meet on March 14/15 to pick 2 ECs

The committee, headed by PM Modi and responsible for selecting Election Commission members, is expected to convene on either March 14 or 15. During this meeting, the committee will decide on candidates to fill the two currently vacant positions of election commissioners. The first vacancy arose with the conclusion of Anup Chandra Pandey's tenure last month, while the second was prompted by the sudden resignation of the other election commissioner, Arun Goel, on Friday.
