India climbs to 39th rank in the Global Innovation Index 2024

India has advanced to the 39th spot among 133 global economies in the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024, an improvement from last year's rank of 40. This progress is driven by India's vibrant start-up ecosystem, knowledge capital, and significant contributions from both public and private research organizations. India continues to lead the lower-middle-income group for the 14th consecutive year.
