Govt blocks 1,700 Skype IDs and 59,000 WA accounts linked to digital fraud

India's I4C has blocked over 1,700 Skype IDs and 59,000 WhatsApp accounts linked to digital fraud. Their 'Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System' has saved over ₹3,431 crore and resolved nearly 1 million complaints. They've also blocked thousands of SIM cards and IMEIs, and are working to stop spoofed calls.
